Not surprisingly, the slight risk was canceled for all of Indiana. Things just never could get going in marginal conditions and a solid cloud deck.

Another Slight Risk Day
Looks like we have another slight risk day for our area. There is a marginal 5% risk for tornadoes in southern Indiana. Some clearing late in the afternoon could increase the instability and produce a few isolated supercells. Otherwise expect a much weaker threat for today.

Slight Risk...
We are now under a slight risk for severe weather today (4/27). Looks like we could seem some possible wind and isolated threats from bow echo thunderstorms which form along the cold front. Overall the set up looks rather messy/disorganized but as the day progresses, conditions should be watched in case any potential increases. It is rather windy today and I measured a 46 MPH wind gust on the north end of Kokomo around 11 AM.

Yuk...
That is about the way to describe the miserable spring we have been having. Cold and rainy and just plain awful. I have been trying to avoid posting about it hoping it would go away. I do see any significant warming trend over the next couple of weeks. That isn't to say a couple of nice days won't be happening but the trend isn't our friend.
