The models are still moving around the details but the pattern remains favorable for a potential blockbuster snow for the weekend. Still a couple of days away before the details are known.
WHEN ALL THE LINES ON THE WEATHER MAP OVERLAP...BAD THINGS HAPPEN!

Models sure seem to indicate something big will happen....but just not sure yet if it is in OUR immediate path. We have not had a good old fashioned December snowstorm in several years.....
are we talking winter of 78 and 79 kind of snow fall?
When I was a kid, which would have been early 80's, we had to put Christmas at Grandmas off for like a week or more, because we had a huge snowstorm in December! So it is possible, fingers are crossed in so many ways!
What sort of timeframe are we talking about with this storm? I just made plans to travel (via driving) and am wondering if maybe I should wait this thing out before taking the trip.
