Gustav is not the "storm of the century" as some as predicted (or even hoped). It is bring rain and wind and some flooding but not what was feared by many. Gustav should bring some impact to our local weather in the middle to end of the week. A cold front will bring an end to the heat and if that can collide with remnants of Gustav, some stormy weather could happen for our community.

Otherwise expect a few days of hot weather before we see some relief.
