The SPC has a very large area under a slight risk for severe weather. We are included in the slight risk. The NWS offices in Northern Indiana and Indianapolis have a much different view on the timing of the moisture in relationship to the cold rushing in. In Cass Co the Northern Indiana NWS has 1-3 inches expected and in Howard County the Indianapolis NWS call is for a 1/2 inch or less. It will be interesting to see who is correct or if they come to an agreement today.
A significant temperature change will happen today with near 50 for the high dropping to single digits readings overnight. This will be a wild weather pattern for the next 24 hours. Stay tuned...
