Good News

It looks like the severe thread for today is less than expected for everyone. Then moderate risk area I expected to shift back west was instead removed. The slight risk probabilities were lowered as a whole meaning the SPC believes the system will not be as powerful first forecast. That is good news for those already cleaning up after recent storms.

The only bad news is the rain and thunderstorms will continue overnight and into Saturday. It won't be a great weekend for outdoor activities.

Just saw tornado watches posted for north of Howard County up towards Michigan, including Cass, Miami, Fulton, and Wabash Counties, until 10:00 p.m.

Yep, looks like it will be extended south. (I have been in Fort Wayne all day and away from Internet access.)
