I must admit I was surprised by the amount of damage from Friday evening's passing of the gust front. I saw numerous large trees down and countless limbs down. Of course that damage was no comparison to the recent tornado and straight line wind damage others have suffered in addition to the flooding. An amazing amount of rain fell over parts of Indiana south and west of Indianapolis.
Today will be windy and hot with a high of 90. Hopefully the grass will be dry and can be mowed.
Monday brings us back to another opportunity for severe weather. The SPC has us in a slight risk and the warm and moist conditions would be right for some activity. A detailed forecast later this evening.
