I spent most of the day sheltered in a windowless room immersing myself in work. I tried to not even think about the very recent bust. At least I am not the only one feeling burned. The ADF (Area Forecast Discussion) from the Indianapolis National Weather Service included this statement...
DUE TO MODELS HAVING LOW 100-150 OFF DURING LAST SYSTEM, DON`T HAVE ENOUGH CONFIDENCE TO ISSUE ANYTHING.
That brightens my mood a little bit and I hope it does yours.
That statement also hints there might be something coming up on the ol' weather front. (Yeah, I made a pun.) Don't worry; it won't be some huge winter storm (that will bust). There is a possibility of some ice on Sunday night. Nothing concrete yet on how much and where the path end up is up for grabs.
As for snow storms, I don't see anything happening in the near future. Monday and Tuesday could bring some soaking rains which will saturate the ground and may bring some flooding of rivers and streams.
