The snow is lightly falling with light winds. I took a handful of measurements and it looks like 1-1.5" of snow on the ground. The radar shows we are about 1/2 way through the storm. An expected frontogenesis that was to form and bring heaver amounts of snow apears weaker than forecast which will bring the snow totals lower than expected.
I guess this will make the school delay and cancel decisions even more difficult. At this point delays seem warranted but I am not thinking cancel. There are several slide offs, minor accidents being heard on the scanner and that will increase with more and more people heading to work and school in a couple of hours.
