Trending Colder

The NWS changed the overnight low to 8 degrees in the past hour. Things are trending colder in the pattern. At this time it isn't enough to make the weekend rain become snow but some freezing rain is looking possible.

For Friday there will be snow for the morning. The GFS shows 1/4" of precipitation working out to 2-4" of snow. Will I get to mark another snow day off my prediction? Doubtful but I can always hope. These maps are for snow falling to 7 AM Friday in the previous 12 hours.
